No no no...I am not having a baby, but Lindsay is! And I am so happy for her. I have waited for her to have a baby since the day they got married! I grew up with the Larsen family and I feel like they are actually my second family - more than any other family - So I declare myself, aunt Tati. :)
And little baby Maren will be wearing my first ever created flower onesies!

Oh the things I do for BYU Sports
January 26, 2011 = The greatest basketball game I've ever seen played at the Marriott. A night I want to relive over and over again. A game that has continued to make me smile, even a few days later and I am still smiling. Yes, the day before, I thought all hope was lost - not hope in my team, I had complete faith that my Cougars would win, but lost hope in that I would not get my seat on that third row, that poor Melanie was going to get trampled as the mob began to crowd us....But we have come out from this adventure, not only alive, but having watched the game from our amazing seats, and finishing with a victory for BYU!
We will start on Tuesday, January 25th: ( I am not sure how many of you know about the whole wristband, can't stand in line until noon deal that was going on...but we had been worrying about how this day would work out for many days)
It was freezing. It snowed on us. There were tons of people...I am not even kidding. I have never seen hype like this for a game. It was unreal!
Picture during a break in the snow.
Meet Jeff. He kept me from falling on my bottom most of the day. Oh and thank you to Jared who gave me his bright green coat to keep warm!
Life is ok, in fact, it is GREAT. Things are working out!
I know. You wish you had a picture with Coach Rose too!
WE DID IT! Those green wristbands were worth every minute of cold, uncertainty, and stress.
Numbers 6 and 11. Did you expect anything less?
Wednesday, January 26:
It's GAME TIME!
The girls. First in line! Always.
I just love this one of the three of us. Have I ever mentioned that I love watching games with these people?! So great.
Jimmer. So hot right now...and forever.
Second row. Smack dab in the middle of the court.
Roomies who will do anything to sit front center to watch some BYU men beat SDSU!
TJ Fredette!
Rise and Shout
You got JIMMERED! da da dadada
Victory!
hahahaaaaahaha
Ok. Really, I love that I get to watch basketball with the greatest people in the world. I also love that BYU beat no longer, undefeated SDSU. I have been smiling since the game ended. People are in good moods and I have even heard it been called a "Jimmer high". I love it.

roommates. love them.
This weekend was amazing and I owe it all to my roommates.
Jen got engaged last week and I couldn't be happier for her and Timmy Tim Tim. They seriously are darling and though he has occupied most of Jen's time, there couldn't be a better person to do it. I love her. She is wonderful for heart to hearts and I am so grateful for the chats we have had. Her sister also recently moved into my homeward (Oh how I miss TOV). We were meant to be in each other's lives.
While Jen has been wedding planning, Melanie, Alex, and I have been partying. Shoot. These girls can get me to laugh like no one else. We have so much fun together!
Sweet Melanie has been my friend for a few years now. Heavenly Father had to try a couple of times to get us to become a part of each other's lives. We were in the same ward for a whole semester and didn't even know it until it came time to camp out for basketball. We have since become roommates and dearest friends.
Alex Alex Alex. We became closer than most roommates do in a very short amount of time and she has nicknames for me like no one else. Alex has the greatest sense of style and in many ways it is very close to mine : ) We have embarked on many adventures together like bonfires with handsome boys, buying a Christmas tree, checking out condos, etc. She is one of the strongest and most compassionate girls that I know.
I died laughing all weekend with Alex and Mel. Dancing. Watching basketball. Talking about boys. Calling each other names. Poking Mel to hear her grunt. People must love watching us together. We really are hilarious! Thank you girls.

I love my MOM
Happy Birthday to my mom.
She is the greatest. I know every child says that about their mom, but mine is special because she is really the greatest. I talk to her at the very least, once a day. Most of the time it is more than once. I call on my way to work. On my way home from work. On my way to the grocery store. At the grocery store. When I am walking to church then as I am walking home. When I can't make a decision. When some boy drives me crazy. When I am frustrated. When I am happy. Before basketball games. After basketball games. Told you we talk a lot. She is my best friend. I tell her everything.
I know I have used the same pictures every year (twice every year - Mother's day and her birthday!), but these are a few of my favorites...
And just between you and me, I actually LOVE having her here in Utah. I can go see her for half an hour and it's not a big deal. I can go spend the weekend at home and if someone calls to do something, I am back to hang out in half an hour. Then she is here to save me whenever I need it.
For example - she has come on all of my field trips. Best example though, happened last week...on Thursday to be exact. I was fixing one of my student's shoes. School was getting out in 15 minutes. I stood up after working on the shoe and got some serious head rush going on. Within a few minutes I was starting to see funny. Then I had a stripe going through my vision and I really could not see. I had to call her and tell her I was scared to drive. She offered to pick me up, but then we had the issue of what to do with my car. She recruited dad so that he could bring her to me and she could drive me and my car back to their house. Then she made me breakfast the next morning and let me wear some of her cute brand new clothes to work.
She is amazing. I couldn't ask for a better mother. The best part is how much I know she loves me. I am not saying that in a bragging way. It is more that I am so grateful to be loved, to know what it feels like to be loved and to know that no matter what, she will always love me.
Thank you mom. I love you so much, so so so much.

friend vs. best friends
Last night, I spent some quality time with my friend Kendrick here.
He is funny, like really funny! We were driving around after the game last night and he made me snort (yes, I snort on occassion). He grabbed my face and said, "I love when you snort!" Not a comment I get very often. It made me laugh even more. He continued to tell me that I had once told him about a card I had found that said something like, "A friend can make you laugh, but a best friend can make you snort." Everytime I snort, he is proud of himself.
It made me happy. So thank you, Kendrick, for appreciating my imperfect laugh.
p.s. He even makes me laugh via texts!

HOCKEY!
My sophomore year at BYU I started going to hockey games. I can't remember exactly how I got into it, but I went to almost every game that season. I loved it. In fact, all of my roommates did. And Alyse and Chad would meet us there...it was just a blast.
Saturday night I caught the end of my first game in 3 years. I forgot how much I loved being there. So thank you, Mr. Addison Johnson, for making me come.

my newest addiction
My junior year at BYU (somehow that was a whole THREE years agoooooo), I started watching the final season of Prison Break with Aubrey and our best friends from across the sidewalk. I loved it and I had no idea what had happened in the previous seasons, but I still could not wait for that one day that it would come on each week. They updated me on stuff that I would be confused about and we always talked about watching the other seasons, but it never happened....
Then over Thanksgiving break I saw Season 1 in my aunt's movie shelf. I stole it. Watched it in a few days. I was hooked. I started stressing...how was I going to find Season 2?! And then I would have to worry about hunting down Season 3....and of course I would have to watch the final season again at the end. I was getting ready to begin the search when my family started using netflix and watching seasons of past favorite shows. My heart jumped. Does it have Prison Break!?!!! I made my brother search...and it was a SUCCESS!
I have since made it through Season 2, Season 3, and I am watching Season 4 all over again. I have dreams that I am breaking out with the beautiful men in the show. They have become my escape. I am in love with the Puerto Rican - Sucre. But then the brothers, Scofield and Burrows, are definitely not bad either. It is weird because someone will have been murdered but then I will know that they are in the final season...or I will see a face and like it but then hate it because they have not yet become the good person that I fell in love with during the last season.
The best part of all of this is that EVERYONE seems to be addicted to it right now. I have ran into countless random people who just happen to be talking about it. Everyone is in love. I highly recommend you start watching it too...just be prepared to be putting away a ton of time to do so!
